The vision of Blessed Theresa of Calcutta (BTOC) church as it sits on the rolling hills of Limerick, is one that attracts the interest of all who pass by. BTOC is a masterpiece of ecclesiastical art that is taken from numerous surrounding churches which have closed and been consolidated into one new, beautiful house of worship. This is the 59th church/place of worship that B&W has completed in their 35 years in business. This architecturally challenging structure is 20,000 square feet and reaches to 105 feet at the top of the cross. The total duration of the project took 17 months to complete. The plastering, aerial beams and column covers add a beautiful touch to this state of the art Catholic Cathedral. It is definitely worth a trip out to visit and witness the fine craftsmanship and detail put into this project.
Benner & White helps a local family
Harleysville Based Benner & White Construction, Inc. recently teamed up with a local family to help them during a challenging time. Carla and Pat Brown, of Harleysville, six months ago had twin daughters Rachel and Miea. Miea suffers from a very rare neurological disorder call Sturge Weber syndrome. This condition causes frequent seizures, with each seisure increasing the chances of permanent brain damage.
Telford Lutheran Home
We are proud to have partnered with E. Allen Reeves & Infinity Structures to complete this beautiful new 65,000 sf skilled nursing facility for the Telford Lutheran Home. The prefabricated walls and unique integrated structural flooring system allowed this job to be constructed quickly and efficiently even during the dead of winter.
ABC Award Ceremony
This years ABC awards ceremony was most gratifying as Benner & White Construction, Inc. was awarded the prestigious honor of 2010 Specialty Contractor of the year. In this economy it takes every person in a company to come together and work efficiently as a team to produce a final product that our clients are customary to receiving from us. Achieving an honor like this reinforces that this years hard work and dedication to the company did not go unnoticed.
Exterior Panels
Benner & White is well known for specializing in metal studs, insulation, drywall, acoustical ceilings, wall treatments, finish carpentry, and EIFS systems, but more recently we have created a niche as exterior panel installers. Over the past 5 years we have performed numerous exterior cladding jobs, including: Fred Beans Ford, Artesian Waters, Colorcon, Towson University, Mini Cooper, and Suzuki Dealers. Unisys World Headquarters
Arborcrest is located in Blue Bell, Pa. on the UNISYS campus. Arborcrest features one of Benner & White’s larger scale EIFS jobs with appx. 30,000sf of specialty Limestone & Creative Granite STO finishes. Our carpentry package includes the buildings core and shell at Arborcrest. This particular job had a very tight schedule, and Benner & White worked closely with the general contractor “The Norwood Company” to help them meet this demanding deadline. At one point B&W had approximately 40 workers on the jobsite between our framing, drywall, EIFS, and stucco crews.
