Lourdes Health System

This 54,000 SF modern state of the art, energy efficient satellite ambulatory center is the primary office for Lourdes Cardiology Services and will have physician offices for orthopedics, sports medicine, rheumatology and podiatry as well as a conference/education center.  This project represents an innovative adaptive reuse project: the existing building, a single story big box has had multiple reincarnations, starting as a supermarket.  The big box concept lends itself well to re-purposing for healthcare because the large structural bays and high roof structure offer the highest degree of planning flexibility. Construction began at Lourdes in May of 2012 and was handed over to the owners in January of 2013 in Cherry Hill, NJ.

Benner & White’s key players on this project included job foreman Conrad Praediger, field manager Bob Cardillo, estimator/project manager Kimberly Marino and finishing superintendent Darrel Asbury. Together we have worked diligently with General Contractor The Norwood Company and the Architect Environetics to ensure that the vision of Lourdes Health System was properly executed with high quality service and attention to detail.

Benner and White’s scope of work included general carpentry, metal studs, drywall, acoustical ceilings, linear wood ceilings, composite metal panels, corrugated roof screen.
